Jock graduated from Edinburgh Uni in 2006 with an MA in Archaeology before completing a further year’s study at UCL and gaining an MSc in Property Development and Planning. He started his career in the Construction and development industry working in London before moving his family to Cheshire to join the Franklyn team.
Having qualified as a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS), he worked both as a consultant and on the client side on several of London’s most iconic buildings. After 10 years in the industry, Jock decided to retrain and move his life to Cheshire. He joined Franklyn in 2018 as a Level 4 and CII(MP) qualified adviser.
Jock uses a very visual approach with his clients, taking the time to explain complex topics so his clients always have a clear understanding of any issues and how they can best achieve their objectives. He is thorough and diligent in his approach, ensuring his clients can rely on Jock and Franklyn to support them and their families moving forward.
When not working Jock loves to spend his time with his wife, two young daughters and his son. He enjoys cooking, talking, and sharing a bottle of wine with friends.
Very much an armchair sportsman, he also loves rugby and cricket but when not a spectator, Jock is often found dotted around the countryside, with family & friends, due to his love of the outdoors.
