Meet Jordan

Jordan, how do you help your clients?

We find the right products for clients, that are most suited to their needs and relevant to them. We treat each client as an individual, reviewing their situation on a case by case basis as no two clients are the same. We then help provide bespoke products for them.

How are Franklyn Mortgages different from other mortgage providers?

The beauty of Franklyn is that we’re not going to find you a product and then leave you to your own devices. We have a whole support team behind you, who will assist you from your initial meeting, to finding your team of solicitors, to chasing the lenders to get your offer. Then our team ensure we stay with and chase the purchase through, with all parties involved including solicitors and estate agents to completion when you get your keys to your new home; or chase through the solicitors to complete your remortgage as swiftly as possible. We cover it all.

What’s the best thing about your job?

Being able to meet new people on a daily basis. No two days are the same, one day you might be dealing with a complex case and then the next it’s a first-time buyer looking to find their dream home.

What do you do in your spare time?

Football! When I’m not here, I play semi-pro football for Sandbach United.

Meet Liam

Liam is one of our superstar Financial Advisers. Liam supports letting agents across the UK, helping them to provide extended financial advice to their landlords.

Liam, how do you help your clients? 

We help our clients to identify problems they don’t know they have. Clients will come to us needing a mortgage, for example, but it’s our job to ensure we help them with not only
their initial enquiry (their mortgage) but also make them aware of any other requirements. Do they have life cover, for example. What happens if they can’t work? Do they have a will* in place? Having these conversations ensures we identify all our clients’ needs.

How are Franklyn Mortgages different from other mortgage providers? 

Your average mortgage broker on the high street will take care of your mortgage but they won’t consider your pension, if you have a will in place, if you have a Power of Attorney* in place; should you purchase your investment property or in your own name etc… the list goes on.

Franklyn offers a holistic approach to ensure we explore all our clients’ needs.

What’s the best thing about your job? 

Every single client is different and, if you’re naturally inquisitive like me, you get to talk to people and ask questions. Every day is different.

What do you do in your spare time? 

I spend time with my family, my daughter who is two, plus I have another girl on the way in October. I’m going to be totally outnumbered now!
