A great start to the school year for our Apprentices!
We are very proud to have four apprentices in the team at Franklyn with each of them having their own individual career journeys mapped out with us, whilst they work towards a degree in Chartered Business Management at Manchester Metropolitan University.
The Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship was developed with the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) and top employers to equip graduates with the leadership skills needed to succeed in the modern world.
The course blends academic learning with on-the-job training, enabling apprentices to become confident, capable and Chartered Managers (CMgr), the industry gold standard for management professionals.
Taught units are supported by work-based projects that focus on live business scenarios and real-world problem solving.
Teaching is based in the University’s acclaimed Business School, which holds a prestigious triple international accreditation.
Chloe Tatton was our first ever apprentice at Franklyn who joined the team over four and a half years ago on a Level 4 & 5 Business Administration Apprenticeship. After successfully completing this, Chloe moved onto her fast-track 2.5 year Chartered Management Degree course which she is now in her final 6 months of and has recently been promoted to Events and Education Manager.
In 2021, we were pleased to welcome James Chatterton and Tom Smyth into the Franklyn Family as Client Manager Apprentices.
Both of them began their 4 year Chartered Management Degree course together and have successfully completed their 1st year whilst James works in our wealth management division and Tom works in our mortgages division.
Not only are James and Tom working towards their Degrees, but they have also recently sat and passed their first exam in Financial Planning, R01. This is a fantastic achievement and shows their dedication to going the extra mile with their studies.
Ruby Charmak is the newest member of the Franklyn Family that joined our team in August as a Client Coordinator Apprentice after a successful work experience placement with us at the beginning of the year.
Working with our team of advisers, Ruby assists with the booking in of client meetings and will be doing this whilst working towards a degree in Chartered Business Management on a four year course.
We’re very proud to have such a dynamic workforce who are continuously working on their growth and development within the team with our support.
